Guidelines for Cooling Tower Selection

 

1. Please specify the specific model selected for the cooling tower or the flow rate processed per hour.

 

2. The inlet and outlet temperatures of the cooling tower, as well as the local wet bulb temperature.

 

3. Please explain what equipment is being used for cooling, whether there is a circulating water tank on site, and what the installation conditions are.

 

4. If spare parts and other accessories are needed, please indicate if there are any other requirements.

 

5. Please specify the usage environment and specific conditions for exceptional use, in order to select the appropriate cooling tower model.

 

6. Please indicate special circumstances and models when ordering, and design specifically according to the contract and technical agreement between both parties.

 

Detailed selection of cooling tower:

 

1. Firstly, it is necessary to determine the inlet water temperature of the cooling tower, in order to choose a standard cooling tower, a medium temperature cooling tower, or a high-temperature cooling tower.

 

2. To determine the equipment to be used or to meet the noise requirements based on the site conditions, a cross flow cooling tower or a counter flow cooling tower can be selected.

 

3. Select the cooling tower flow rate based on the cooling water volume of the chiller or refrigeration unit. Generally speaking, the cooling tower flow rate should be greater than the cooling water volume of the refrigeration unit.

 

4. When multiple units are connected in parallel, try to choose the same type of cooling tower.
