A, countercurrent tower:
 
1, water in the tower packing, water from top to bottom, air from bottom to top, the two flow to the opposite kind of cooling tower.
 
2. The counterflow cooling tower has good thermal performance and is divided into three cooling sections:
 
(1) from the water distributor to the packing top, the water temperature in this section is high, so the heat can still be transferred to the air.
 
(2) heat exchange section of packing water and air.
 
(3) The water spraying section from the filler to the water collecting tank space, in which the water is cooled, is called "tail effect". In northern China, the water temperature can drop by 1-2℃. To sum up, under the same conditions, the packing volume of counter-current tower is about 20% smaller than that of cross-flow tower, and the heat exchange process of counter-current tower is more reasonable and the cooling efficiency is higher.
 
3. The water distribution system is not easy to be blocked, the water spraying filler is kept clean and not easy to age, the moisture backflow is small, and the anti-freezing and deicing measures are easier. Multiple units can be designed in combination. In winter, with the required water temperature and quantity, a single unit can be combined to run or all fans can be stopped.
 
4. The construction, installation and maintenance are easy and the cost is low. It is often used in air conditioning and industrial large and medium-sized cooling circulating water.
 
Second, the cross-flow tower:
 
L, water in the tower packing, water from top to bottom, air from the outside of the tower to the inside of the tower, the two flows are perpendicular to each other. Commonly used in residential areas with strict noise requirements, it is a cooling circulation tower that is widely used in air conditioning industry. Advantages: energy saving, low water pressure, small wind resistance, low-speed motor, no dripping noise and aerodynamic noise, and convenient maintenance of packing and water distribution system.
 
2. The foundation can be constructed and placed at will according to the shape of the building, and single or multiple cooling towers can be started respectively according to the required water temperature.
 
3. It should be noted that the frame needs 40% more heat exchange, and there should be more packing volume, which is easy to age, the water distribution hole is easy to block, the icing prevention is not good, and the moisture backflow is large. The advantage of cross-flow tower is the disadvantage of counter-flow tower.
 
Three, spray ventilation without packing cooling tower:
 
The unique spray nozzle is installed at the air inlet at the bottom and upper part of the cooling tower, and there are two ways: spray spin motor-free air supply and tower top exhaust. When the hot water passes through the inner rotating blade of the nozzle, it generates an internal swirl to form a fine mist, so that the mist can be stored, sprayed upstream and also dropped countercurrent. Uniform atomization without hollowing, stable cooling effect, low power consumption, bleaching rate of 0.01%, no filler, low cost and long service life, which meets the national standard of GB7190.1-1997. Scope of application: metallurgy, food, chemical industry, high turbidity, high temperature and anti-corrosion cooling tower.
 
Four, closed cooling tower
 
1. Closed cooling tower is a kind of deformation and development of traditional cooling tower. In fact, it is a combination of evaporative cooling tower, cooler and wet cooling tower. It is a horizontal evaporative cooling tower. The process fluid flows in the pipe and the air flows out of the pipe, and they are not in contact with each other. After the water in the reservoir at the bottom of the tower is pumped by the circulating pump, it is sent to the outside of the pipe and sprayed evenly. It does not contact with process fluid hot water or refrigerant and air outside the pipe, and becomes a closed cooling tower, which enhances the effect of heat and mass transfer by spraying water.
 
2. The enclosed Zhenjiang cooling tower is suitable for all kinds of cooling systems with high requirements for circulating water quality, and has application prospects in electric power, chemical industry, steel, food and many industrial sectors. On the other hand, compared with the air-cooled heat exchanger, the evaporative cooling tower makes use of the latent heat of evaporation of water on the lower side of the tube to significantly enhance the heat and mass transfer on the air side, and also has obvious advantages.
